My name is Willie Brown from Scotland. I've been line dancing since the age of 11 so 30 years!! I competed through my teenage years winning at Scottish and British championships, gaining 3rd at World's and was part of the 'Highland Prodigy' World champion cabaret team.

 

I was asked to take over a class in 2001 and quickly added more and more to the point where I now teach line dancing as a full time job 4 days a week with 2 socials every month and 3 of my own weekends each year.

 

I started choregraphing around 2002 but the first dance to do well was 'Heart Of An Angel' written in August 2006. This was popular all over the world and was voted the 2007 Improver Level Dance of the Year at the Crystal Boot Awards. It has now been awarded a 'Dance Of Legend' status by Rob Fowler and his Legends In Line events.

 

Other notable dances include Cecilia & The Real Deal and more recently Rewritten, Bumblebee and Money In My Pocket.

 

I'm extremely fortunate to have been invited all over the UK to teach including World Dance Masters and Eurodance and also a number of events through Europe, in USA and even Korea. I am married to Lisa-Marie and have three kids, Dylan, Taylor and Ethan
