Meet David Sinfield

I I first started Linedancing in 1994 when I was 14. My Uncle Frank Higginson first introduced me to the world of Linedance & ever since then I've been hooked on it. Two years later I started teaching and choreographing. I choreographed my first dance in 1996 called "Fanta Boogie" & then later got into competitions in 2004.

I competed in multiple competitions & eventually became The World Masters in Line champion in 2005, 2006, 2007 & European CWDC Champion in 2006 & 2007. Ever since then I've been choreographing since 1996. One of my most successful dances that I've choreographed has been Love 2 Cha Cha, which is still being danced today & is one of five dances published in linedancer magazine.

My first mentors were Rachael McEnaney-White & Michelle Robinson who trained me for competitions & taught me dance technique which really helped me be the dancer I am today. In 2020 I started on an educational program, devised by Rob Fowler called I.C.E (Inspire, Challenge, Evolve) & I've trained Instructors throughout my career.

The people that I look up to in the linedance community are Rob Fowler & Heather Barton. Rob has taught me so much over the past couple of years. He is passing his knowledge of dance down to multiple aspiring Choreographers through the I.C.E program & really helped them with some of them even receiving nominations for awards for their choreography.

And Heather Barton, for her incredible personality. She has a brilliant show on Linedancer Radio but also she has won a Crystal Boot Award for her dance Rolling with Love along with Simon Ward & her inspiring dance What a song can do which she choreographed with Andrew Hayes.
